Sean Mobberley has had a lifelong passion for computer programming, electronics, and mechanical engineering and recently has become interested in its relationship with biological sciences. A pursuant of patents in electro-mechanical systems, designer of bio-mechanical prototypes, pre-clinical developer of cardiothoracic surgery tools, and a researcher/statistical analyzer of high-frequency waves, Sean enjoys diving head-first into cross-disciplinary engineering challenges.

Sean is a painter and a poet in his spare time, an expert on internal rhyme, and an author of children's books. His first book, “Baby wants a bath book: how to get your dirty baby clean” proved wildly successful at his aunt’s daycare, where it was put up as a “book of the month,” twice. A sequel to the book is said to be in development and slated for release in early 2025.

As the founder and Executive Race Director of Iowa’s Best Dam Triathlon, former president of the University of Iowa Triathlon Team, and reigning campeon todos contra todos in Florida multi-sport athletics, he developed a reputation as a welcoming and inclusive individual with fantastic project management capabilities.
